Went to see Juno today and was totally charmed. It avoided all the usual stereotypes, was well-acted, well-written, just the kind of film I love. It was a toss-up between that and Sweeney Todd, which I still really want to see. Just not today. Hit the bookstore before and after, and came away with some good scores. Heaven is a massive English-language bookstore, though you've gotta watch out for those cinnamon dolce lattes lurking at every turn.
On Tuesday, I'm going to do something completely cool. Or, as the woman on the ticket line said, "You guys are going to have an awesome day!" It's something I've always wanted to do, which is what makes the 5am hit-the-road time okay bearable. Only 3 people can do it each day and we're probably going to be exhausted at the end but it'll al be worth it. Photos soon!
;-)
This was the blog of an Eloise wannabe and her 2 roustabout kitties as they work on a book deal in the City of Lights, giggling all the way. Now it's the blog of an Eloise wannabe planning her next escape (California, Canadia?) with 2 other kitties--still working, still giggling.
